Sentences on Pleas of Guilty

We approach all sentences, whether they be in the Magistrates, District or the Supreme Court with the same level of diligence you can expect of a Barrister. As former Barristers, we insist on preparing written outlines of submissions, and researching comparable sentences.

Just because your matter is before the Magistrates Court does not mean that the outcomes will be trivial. Sentences can include jail time and restrictive community based orders. We will not simply leave it up to the Court to decide the outcome without reference to comparable cases.
